At Hawthorn & Hornbeam we specialise in sourcing, planting and designing with the finest quality semi-mature and mature trees, topiary and hedging. Our practice is based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire and we carry out commissions for private and commercial clients both locally and further afield.
Hawthorn & Hornbeam was established by Jason Claridge in 2019 and was born out of his passion for trees and the extensive tree and specialist planting carried out at Earth Landscapes, his long established, successful garden design and landscape practice. Trees and topiary have always played a major part in the designs and gardens at Earth Landscapes. The creation of a new specialist tree company has been a vision of Jason’s for many years.

It is very humbling being in the presence of ancient trees, some of which are thought to be over 5,000 years old. I am always in awe of the habitats and homes that these remarkable plants and trees create and the whole cycle of life they support. It is this passion that inspired me to form Hawthorn & Hornbeam.”
